DESCRIPTION:Festival of Lights – starts 12/1\nThe Hunt Club Festival of Lights has been an annual event for residents to decorate the outside of their homes with holiday lights\, inflatables\, etc.  It provides an opportunity for everyone to share in the holiday spirit during this time of various holiday celebrations.  The Festival of Lights allows us to focus our attention on celebrating the positive spirit of the holiday season.  We encourage all residents to decorate the outside of their home for the holiday season.  It’s a great time for families to spend time decorating the outside of their home to support the holiday spirit. \nThe Festival of Lights starts 12/1 and runs through 12/31.  Everyone who participates is eligible for a random drawing for holiday gift cards (drawing to held on 12/15). \nWe look forward to seeing some creative and beautiful light displays.

DESCRIPTION:Hunt Club Subdivision Garage Sale\n Thursday\, May 29\, Friday May 30\, \nSaturday May 31\, and Sunday June 1\n9:00 – 4:00 each day  \nHunt Club Sub\, Independence Commons and Old Homestead West are having a Multi-Sub Garage Sale on the above dates/times.   I have volunteered to coordinate it for Hunt Club. \nI will advertise the sale on Marketplace\, and signs will be placed at the entrance to the sub and nearby intersections.  It’s recommended that you place your own (free) ad on Marketplace\, with descriptions and/or photos of the items you are selling.   It’s also recommended that you place signs within the sub directing people to your house\, esp. if you’re not on one of the main streets.    If you don’t have a lot to sell\, two or more neighbors can combine their items into a “multi-family” sale\, to attract more buyers. \nPlease respond if you will be having a garage sale—it really helps to know the total number/locations of houses participating.  I’ll advertise the total number of garage sales on Marketplace\, and I will make a map. \nIf you will be participating\,  please let me know by May 15th.   \nPlease call or text Lani Walczak at:  (248) 207-5805\, or email LWalczak@twmi.rr.com  \nOn the day of the sale\, it helps to mark your driveway accordingly with a sign.   Also be sure to have plenty of change and bags available. \nHappy selling………. \nLani Walczak
